New findings and exciting opportunities to get involved with Beyond Opposition

Dear Friends,

The global corona pandemic has hit all of us around the world. Our work and daily lives have been profoundly impacted. But, the Beyond Opposition Project continues to move forward, adapting our research and interviews to be socially distant and gaining new insights on your experiences each step of the way! We are thrilled that we have continued to gather information, speak with community members, and develop our research.

We are excited to share key findings from our project so far and to invite you to continue to participate in the research and help spread the word about the work we are doing.

In this issue

We are so happy to share some updates and next steps with you. The Beyond Opposition team has been working hard to reach out to different communities in Canada, the UK, and Ireland and we have already learnt so much!

In this month’s newsletter find out about:

Our Findings so Far

Get Involved and Help Spread the Word

Catch up on Past Events

Our Findings

One of the key goals of our project is to move beyond stereotypes and perceptions of polarisation in order to hear about people’s unique everyday experiences and to listen to how their lives have been impacted by a variety of rights and policies. It is perhaps no surprise then that our initial findings point to the diversity of our participants and the wide range of views they hold!

Want to know more?  You can read a summary about our initial findings from interviews and questionnaire responses here. If you haven’t yet signed up for an interview or completed the questionnaire then check out the links below to participate!

Get Involved

Beyond Opposition continues to engage with participants through our online questionnaire and online interviews. These are confidential opportunities to talk about your everyday experiences. Each interview has taught us so much about unique individual experiences. We would love to hear from you!
